26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack: US Court Summons ISI Chief

Two years have passed after terrorists took over the Hotel Taj in Mumbai and killed 166 guests on the spot. The 26/11 Mumbai terror attack victims are still in our mind and we, not only as a nation but also as humans, want justice and punishment for all those who carried out and master mined this attack.

The US has said that it will honor the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack victims and stand shoulder to shoulder with them in getting justice. Meanwhile, the relatives of the 166 people killed have filed a lawsuit in the New York court and the latter have issued summon to the ISI chief Lt Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha and the masterminds of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

The allegations of the suit have claimed that ISI has been responsible for giving military training, material support and making the coordination of the attack with Lashkar-e-Toiba, which was responsible in carrying out the attack. Three former chiefs of ISI, named Nadeem Taj, Major Iqbal and Major Samir Ali have also been summoned by the US court.

US ambassador in US has said that India will always get the backing of US in combating terrorism and 26/11 Mumbai attack planners will not be spared.

Pakistan, however has argued back, saying that it was not proper to drag their intelligence unit ISI into the issue.
