Bollywood sensation Imran Khan tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Avantika on this Monday. The couple had a registered marriage at his uncle Aamir Khan’s House which is located in Pali Hill.The duo was engaged in a love affair for last eight years.
Imran and Avantika’s wedding was attended by close family members from both sides. Among the relatives Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao, also Amir’s first wife Rina were present along with her kids. Moreover, Mansoor Khan and his wife Tina, Aamir Khan’s mother and Nuzhat’s sisters Nikhat and Farhat were among the other invitees.
The couple was looking spectacular in traditional wedding costumes and their outfits were designed by eminent designer Manish Malhotra. Imran and Avantika were taken in Amir’s house in a black Porche before the wedding.
It was the bungalow where Imran’s mother and also the groom’s mamujaan Aamir Khan tied the knot. This bungalow is an ancestral house that belongs to Imran’s maternal grand father and the legendary filmmaker Naseer Khan.
The newly weds tonight on Tuesday will be leaving for their honeymoon to Phukhet, Thailand for a three day holiday. They have planned their romantic honeymoon in an island which has been entirely reserved for the loving couple. It is heard that 50 guests will come to see-off the newly-weds at the airport.
