Rosie Batty, the poor mother of Luke Batty, an eleven year school boy bid a tearful adieu to her son in his funeral. The lady was dressed in yellow, which was the favourite colour of the soulful boy. Members of Ms Batty’s family carried Luke from the chapel of his school, Flinders Christian Community, in the small Australian town of Tyabb. The boy was killed by his abusive father at the sports oval last week. The abusive man showed his manliness on the poor boy, stabbed him and killed him and forced him to breathe his last.
Luke, a bright boy was a fun loving guy, a young talented cricketer and a good football player. Tears rolled down everyone’s cheeks who attended the funeral and Luke’s friends hugged and tried to console each other. The schoolmates were in uniform with a touch of yellow to honour the boy. The coffin was also bright yellow and topped with yellow flowers along with his Sponge Bob Squarepants toy. Tearful Mum thanked the public for ‘not judging’ her for failing Luke. The lady who suffered such an irreparable loss wants her child to be remembered as ‘sensitive, fun loving boy’.
