Out of 1.38 lakh students who appeared for the Maharashtra SSC supplementary examination in July, only 25.37% passed. This examination is usually scheduled at October, but it is for the first time that SSC supplementary examination was held in July. The supplementary examination was re-scheduled in July and the dates were decided by the education minister of the state, Vinod Tawde soon after the SSC examination results appeared on June 8 to ensure that the failed students could get another chance to write the examination without wasting much time or in that case another academic year.
Students who have successfully passed the SSC supplementary examination are now eligible to continue their studies and join Class XI in this academic year. Those students who have not passed the supplementary SSC examination, held in the month of July can re-appear in the examination which is to be held in the month of March, next year. Students who failed to clear the supplementary examination will be given the certification which will further help them enroll for state government crash courses to hone their professional skills.
Students who appeared for the supplementary examination can enter their roll numbers at the Maharashtra Board official website, maharesult.nic.in.
The numbers of passed candidates have lowered comparatively, which has caused concern among many concerned authorities.
