It has been reported by insiders that the next generation iPhone from Apple will start shipping from the month of September this year. This iPhone will have a much faster processor. Few weeks ago we published a news regarding Apple iPhone delay which caused lot of tension among its investors. Now the issue seems to be over.
Some persons having good access to the supply chain of the company have revealed that the production of the iPhone will start from July or August. The iPhone is expected to look very similar to the iPhone4.
The iPhone with the touchscreen was introduced in the market in the year 2007. Though the concept has become 4 years older, still the gadget has remained as a hotcake in the smartphone market. The sources said all these, on condition of anonymity since the plans for new iPhone4 is not yet made public by the Apple authorities.
iPhone is considered to be one of the most successful business products of Apple as the company sold more than 16 million in the last quarter of the year 2010. iPhone accounted for more than one third of the company’s sales turnover in the last quarter. To many of the retail distributors of iPhone, Apple products are nothing but their cash cows and to many, their bread and butter.
Since the company launches different versions quite frequently, the low margin suppliers are the ones who are most benefited from the marketing strategy of the company.
