The Election Commission of India has announced the date of elections in the five states of India. These states are expected to go to the polls during the months of April and May. The five states which are going to the polls include West Bengal, Tamilnadu, Assam, Poducherry and Kerala.
In a bid to create more employment in America, President Obama has submitted the America Jobs Act of 2011 to the Congress on 12th September. The bill is intended to reduce the payroll taxes while increasing the take-home salary of the working mass without escalating the deficit.
The President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak just left Cairo temporarily and flew for the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh. His sudden departure occurred a day after he transferred some authority to Vice President Omar Suleiman following the continuous protests that were going on for weeks in the country.
