Recently news has been published in Boy Genius Report that reveals some leaked images of BlackBerry Touch Monaco, which is also codenamed as Monza according to different carriers the phone will be available on. The report tells that the Monaco will come on Verizon Wireless while the BlackBerry Monza will be the global GSM version of the smartphone. The source also discloses some f the specs of the upcoming device. BlackBerry Touch will be running on BlackBerry OS 6.1 and users will require a BlackBerry ID to access to its control panel. OS 6.1 seems to be quite similar to previous OS 6.0, but it is yet to see whether the new OS brings any more addition to it prior to the BlackBerry Bold Touch release. Customers will also get a built-in support for backup and restore all data. We are told that the release date of BlackBerry Monaco/Monza will be announced this May during the BlackBerry World event. The smartphone most probably will be launched as one of the latest Touch series rather than launching as a part of the Storm lineup. Till now there is no information about the specs of the BlackBerry Touch has surfaced. So stay with us to stay updated.
