Car Prices Goes Down, Aspirants Left With A Quarter Year To Fulfill Desire

Car prices in India are going to get cheaper by fairly handsome amounts after the interim budget presented by Finance Minister P. Chidambaram in the Lok Sabha. Since it is the interim budget and the present government term is going to end soon, the revised price will be effective till 30th June 2014. Thus aspiring people just have around 4 months to grab the opportunity of availing cut down prices and buy the car of their cherished desire.

Maruti, India’s highest selling car manufacturer is supposed to announce a reduction in the price range of Rs 8,000 to Rs 31,000 in its various models. Celerio, is now cheaper by Rs 14,000 and is priced at Rs 3.76 lakhs. Maruti’s other well-known common car Alto800 has come down and is priced withinRs 2.42-Rs 3.52 lakh. Swift Dzire starts now at Rs 4.85 lakh and Wagonr from Rs 3.52 lakh.

Honda has cut down prices on all models. Brio, which has had the best reduction in price, starts at Rs 3.99 lakh and top end Brio comes under Rs 6lakh. Petrol based Amaze is reported to start from Rs 4.99 lakh and the diesel counterpart at Rs 5.97 lakh. The latest model CR-V has gone down a steep downslope in its price of as high as Rs 45,000 and is priced at Rs 20.25 lakh.
