In a stunning development, the website of India’s premier investigation agency Central Bureau of Investigations has been hacked by a group of people. The group who have hacked the CBI website, have claimed them to be Pakistan Cyber Army.
The hackers have left a message on the CBI website that what they have done is nothing but a revenge of what the Indian hackers have done with various Pakistani websites. At the end of the message, the hackers have mentioned Long Live Pakistan. The spokeswoman of CBI said that the CBI website was hacked on Friday night and they are doing their level best to restore the website to the original one.
The CBI website was used to inform the public about the activities of India’s premium investigating agency. The CBI is trying to find out the main culprit behind the attack. The message on the CBI website mentioned – “Hacked hahaa funny. Let us see what you investigating agency so called CBI can do” (sic).
The group also made an infiltration to the server of national Informatics Center or NIC, which is responsible for maintaining most of the websites of the Government. This group, named Pakistan cyber army has also hacked the website of Indian liquid baron Vijay Mallaya and also Oil and Natural gas Corporation (ONGC).
The incident shows a lack of concern for internet security among most people in the country. The people in power must take special initiative in this regard.
