Prakash Jha’s upcoming political thriller Chakravyuh receives a 15 minute standing ovation at the London premiere. The film, has been showcased at the prestigious Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, and it was also a part of the official ‘Thrill Gala’ selection of the London Film Festival. This is indeed great news for all Indian film lovers. After the huge acclamation for the film Chakravyuh becomes able to meet up the rising expectations of the global Indians.
Even among the London glitterati Chakravyuh stands out to be the first mainstream Bollywood film to be premiered at the London Film festival in 15 years. So we are having our fingers crossed in expectations that the latest release movies may shower us with something truly exceptional.The film has been scheduled for a 24 October, 2012 release.
Now if we talk about the plot of the movie, as per the director’s version we came to know, the film is intended to be a social observations on the issues of Naxalites. The story narrates the life of two friends- Adil and Kabir. The plot has been set in a deep social unrest India. It is a never ending war that isn’t being waged by strangers. The enemy is our own! The youth of the country have risen up against the injustice, against tyranny, against exploitation. In this film we see six extraordinary characters, each of them having a passionate dream – A promise, which they will maintain above everything else.may shower us with something truly exceptional.
