John Helinski was living in the cardboard box on the streets of Tampa, Florida for the last three years. However, at the age of 62 when he was looking for a home and work to earn his livelihood, with the help of a homeless shelter worker and a policeman, Helinski discovered an account that had been collecting his disability and pension money for years.
The homeless shelter worker, Charles Inman and police officer Daniel McDonald were working together to locate the ID documents and social security number for Helinski, so as to get him a shelter and a work. Their queries took them to a bank account that has been gathering dollars for all this while.
As per the reports, Helinski thought his benefits were cancelled long ago, while he stopped accessing this bank account after losing the debit card on the street. Although Helinski did not disclose the amount, the homeless shelter worker is in favor of saying that the account has enough money to support Helinski’s living without having to work.
This sudden change of fortune for Helinski is certainly a matter of sheer happiness for Inman and McDonald. As they started working towards getting Helinski a new home and work, the situation looked quite difficult. It was quite a pain for both of them to see a man of 62 years living in the streets. However, the matters that initially looked quite complex, ended up on a happy note.
John Helinski should shortly move into his home!!
