This Wednesday, United States of America celebrated its annual-Independence day, which involved several cookouts as well as patriotic events that eventually led to firework displays at night-time in a number of cities.
The annual parade on July- 4th moved along to the Constitution Avenue in Washington-D.C. Later the parade was joined in by a huge crowd for a nationalistic concert at National Mall. After the patriotic events were successfully conducted, the citizens also witnessed the fiery colours of the fireworks that were lit behind Washington Monument.
Donna, a Washington Visitor was overwhelmed at the spectacle and appreciated the event with high scores. She crowned the celebration with adjectives such as spectacular, wonderful, amazing, awesome and marvellous. She said that she had never been to the city before and enjoyed her visit very much.
The American citizens eagerly wait for this day, when they can see the sky filled in with numerous colours.
