The NET exams for this year will be held on June 24th. After passing this exam, candidates will become eligible for lectureship in Government colleges. The NET exam is known in full as National Eligibility test and is conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Reports available from inside sources have suggested that from this year, there will be objective type questions in the NET exams. This is a deviation from the existing pattern that was going on for the past few years in the exam.
The candidates who are willing to apply for the NET examination this year, need to send their applications online this year. The last date of submission of applications is April 30th and the last date for receiving of documents at the respective test centers is May 7, 2012.
