Paul the Octopus became a celebrity during the World Cup football. Though many people have mourned its passing away a few months later, but some Guangzhou’s pandas have replaced the octopus in the Asian games that is being held in China.
Chinese media has claimed that these 12 pandas are living at Guangzhou Chimelong Tourist Resort’s zoo and are doing medal predictions for different games of the Chinese Asian games. Each Panda has got expertise in some field or the other. The panda which is quite fit and smart is giving correct predictions on events of martial art. Similarly, another panda, who loves to spend time in water is making correct predictions on different swimming events accurately.
Two different types of food are given to the pandas. One food represents China, while the other one is for another country. The food that pandas choose to eat seemed to be the predicted winner. The news has given a celebrity status to the pandas as people are thronging to the zoo to have a glimpse of these 12 pandas. The Chinese food here is represented by bamboo, a diet which the pandas love to eat. Let us see how many times they eat the bamboo to push up the medal tally of China at the games.
