Proud Day For Michigan Football As Sugar Bowl Defeats Virginia Tech

Michigan players were so excited about the win that while celebrating on the field, they poured a bucket of ice water on the head of his coach Brady Hoke. It was a wonderful day for Michigan football as Sugar Bowl defeated Virginia Tech in a nerve thrilling, exciting match.

The victory of Sugar Bowl made a very impressive debut season for Hoke, who has coached the Wolverines (11-2) and brought them back to prominence with their first BCS bowl victory since the Orange Bowl victory in the year 2000. Hoke said he was proud of Michigan football since only five teams out of 132 teams, have been able to win 11 games.

Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer said,” I’m about half-sick right now. They weren’t stopping us; we were stopping ourselves.” Virginia Tech with 11-3 was able to double Michigan’s total yards, 377-184 and was able to make 22 first downs as compared to Michigan’s 12. Though Virginia Tech dominated most of the first half, they could not make it till the end of the game as Super Bowl came back into the game in the second half.
