Last week, we came across the hottest buzz that Google is about to launch its own eBook store by the end of the year. But it happened sooner than our expectations and all ebook fans can now access their favorite ebook client, i,e; Google ebooks via Google’s Web Reader, in addition to iPhone, iPad and Android apps. Besides all public domain free ebooks, Google will jointly promote the paid ebooks of other booksellers. At present they have more than million eBooks in their store to provide users eReading pleasure. To avail this facility one needs to own a device that has the facility to access a web browser.
The main advantage of Google eBooks is it is universally accessible which seems to be the USP of this app that sets it apart from its rivals like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Amazon eBooks as we all know are usually best viewed on Kindle, Amazon’s own eBook device.
Google is also accepting other booksellers to promote and sell their own eBooks on Google’s store; it is certainly a smart move on Google’s part. From booksellers point Google is a giant platform that will make their eBook selling task easier.
