Now a child’s all time favorite McDonald house gets even bigger than the previous. The first phase of the Make Room in Your Heart campaign was hugely celebrated at the Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan recently.
Ronald McDonald House got a big donation from Capital Hotel in St. John’s Friday. Moreover, it got a giant boost since Smiling Land Foundation also donated $250,000 to the foundation.
At present McDonald has already renovated four family guest rooms in the house which is located near Fuller in downtown Grand Rapids. Few dozens of creative designers, along with a number of suppliers and vendors offered services at massive discounted rates to aid with renovation costs.
Lisa Evans, the Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan said to press that, Each room took around $10,000 in remodeling so McDonald opened their house to donors who have openhandedly came forward to support their efforts and to those who might be eager to support the room renovation at the Ronald McDonald house.
Work on remodeling the other additional rooms will start later this year. The objective of the campaign is to reinvent all 17 family guest rooms by December 2013. The Ronald McDonald House also provides a home away from home for the parents whose children have been hospitalized for treatment.
