A fantastic 33 yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski helped Oakland Raiders to gain a smooth, wonderful victory over AFC West leading Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders won the match by a margin of 23-20 and it is considered to be their biggest win in the past eight years. The team went into celebrations after this prestigious victory over their rivals after a span of eight long years.
Jason Campbell gave a pass which was 47 yard long and it was received by rookie Jacoby Ford and from there Sebastian Janikowski opened that fantastic field goal. At the closing seconds of regulation, Ford and Campbell again went for a 29 yard long pass together and Sebastian Janikowski again scored another one just seconds before the final whistle blew up. It was overtime and Raiders went ahead by 5-4 to get their most important victory since the AFC Championship in the year 2002.
This is the third straight win for Raiders in this season and hence they are only half a game behind Kansas City (5-3) in this tournament. The intensity of the rivalry can be judged from the fact that there shall be five turnovers, 27 penalties and two fake punts.
