At last, one of the great achievements has been fulfilled. The Apple applications download has touched another prestigious milestone of 25 billion through random usage on iPads, iPhones and additional devices.
A vivacious banner was used by the tech-giant on the website to celebrate this auspicious achievement and thanked their customers for helping Apple to reach the 25 billion download target. The promotion started from the 13th of Feb and an award was announced for the winner who would download the application most to help Apple to meet its target.
The winning amount declared was a gift certificate of $10,000 and the winner would be shortlisted online within the completion of 10 days of the promotion period. The 15 billion targets was touched by Apple on the month of July and in Dec. the rival site Google Inc. declared their achievement of 10 billion that was highly celebrated by offering 10 cents for selected applications for a restricted time.
