The presence of Hurricane Sandy felt close to the land of NYC on Monday, 29th October, 2012. The mild hit of Hurricane Sandy felt especially in the pummeling coastal beach towns. The populations of the East Coast cities are waiting for the winds and rains to come steadily and morph for creating an environment more threatening to life of the people.
Based on the forecast and warning from the weather forecasting department all other cities of New York including Washington worked for complete shut downing which are especially visible when there is accumulation of snow for several feet. Complete suspension of the services of the public transport system like Virginia Railway Express, Metro and Maryland Transportation System are done by the state government. This all is done to prohibit the people of the nation to try their luck in reaching the offices in such critical situation.
Because of dangerous condition of the roads during Hurricane the schools and colleges also shut the doors. We need to wait and watch t record the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.
