Twitter Gets Flooded As Christina Aguilera Sings Wrong National Anthem

After the Sunday’s Christina Aguilera Super Bowl performance in front of Pittsburgh Steelers-Green Bay Packers viewers Christina Aguilera is trying her best to prove her love for the country. But what did actually happen at Super Bowl that made her rushing to defend herself? The glamorous pop singer shockingly messed up with a line of the National Anthem during the performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Millions of twitters busted out with rage as Christina Aguilera messed up National Anthem. But the singer defends herself by saying she lost her mind during the moment and made the mistake.

She also adds, “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”

Aguilera, while singing The Star Spangled Banner prior to the beginning of Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, Texas, by mistake repeated a phrase before time in the song. The pop star sang “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last gleaming?” rather than singing “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?” Some people also saying on Twitter that “Janet Jackson nip slip is less offensive than Christina Aguilera messing up the lyrics to the national anthem.”
