UPSC prelims results have been announced

The UPSC prelims, 2010 results have been announced. The examination was held on May 23rd, 2010 and the IAS result 2010 for the prestigious examination is available at the UPSC website. You will have to click on the link and submit your roll number in order to see your result.

The candidates whose named have been announced have got qualified for the Civil services (Main) examination to be held in the later part of 2010. Since the candidature of these candidates is provisional, all these candidates will have to apply again for admission to the Civil Services (Main) examination, 2010. The detailed application form is also available at the UPSC website.

After downloading the form, they will have to send the form, duly filled in their own handwriting for admission to the mains examination which is scheduled to be held on October 29th, 2010.

The UPSC authorities will also send a copy of the application form to the successful candidates by post. The candidates are expected to get the forms by September 8th and if a student does not get so, must contact the Commission office immediately. Students can fill up that application form and submit it to the UPSC office mentioned in that form itself to get qualified for the main examination.

This is a very prestigious examination as the successful candidates after the interview selection will become the bureaucracy of the country.
